Tonya completed her Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling with a specialization in Addiction and Recovery from Liberty University. She has over 12 year’s experience working with cooccurring disorders. She earned a certification as an Anger Management Specialist II. She has worked in various treatment settings such as intensive outpatient, residential, nonprofit, community health, and medication assisted treatment centers. She has worked with military veterans and their families regarding issues that arise from deployment, PTSD, and substance use. She has also worked for many years with individuals who are involved in the criminal justice system and Department of Family & Children’s Services.
