Christina Thompson
I am a master’s level clinician having earned my Master’s Degree of Community Counseling and my Bachelors Degree of Arts in Psychology from Argosy University. I am a pre-licensed supervised therapist. I have over 15 years of experience in the field of Mental and Behavioral Health. I work with adults, adolescents, and families to assist them in achieving health and wellness. I am well versed in anger management, depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I am skilled at helping clients identify untapped mental and emotional skills needed to release past traumas and make room for growth.
As we sit back and reflect on our lives, the mirror filling us with distorted images can be unforgiving. I help my clients clean the mirror within through a thoughtful process of self-examination, self-reflection, and mediation. I help my clients understand that the emotional, mental, and physical images that they have embraced and internalized are not a reflection of who they are, but a reflection of the events that happened to them. Together, we take a soul-searching journey on which we identify the issues impeding a healthy life and replace unhealthy habits by using measurable and specific actions that gradually improve the quality of their lives.
